Five Permitted Drill Pads, a Three-Kilometer Anomaly, and a Trigger Zeus Has Not Pulled Yet
Wall Street Reports Research Team
October 31, 20268 min read
In junior mining, there is a single event that re-rates a company more often than any other. It is not a press release, a financing, or a conference. It is the drill bit entering the ground at a real target for the first time.
Investment Highlights

►
The surface dataset:

►
The status:
five drill pads permitted, high-priority targets defined, and no maiden drill results released yet.1
Zeus North America Mining Corp. (CSE: ZEUS | OTCQB: ZUUZF | FSE: O92) has spent the past two years assembling everything that comes before that moment at its flagship Cuddy Mountain property in Idaho. It has mapped the geology, sampled the soils and rocks, run the geophysics, stacked the results, permitted the pads, and selected the targets.1 What it has not yet done is release maiden drill results. The trigger is built. It has not been pulled.
That is the whole reason to look at Zeus now rather than later. The de-risking surface work is largely behind it. The catalyst is ahead of it.

How a junior gets re-rated
Exploration is a sequence, and the market pays for each step differently. Surface work, sampling, and geophysics build the case for a target, but they are inherently indirect. They tell you where to drill, not what is there. The value the market assigns to that work is real but capped, because the central question remains open.
Drilling is what resolves the question. The first holes at a genuine target either confirm a system at depth or they do not, and the market reprices accordingly. That is why maiden drill programs are the events that move junior valuations more than anything else. They convert an interpretation into data.
Zeus has done the expensive, time-consuming, unglamorous part: the part that produces a credible, permitted drill target. The part that produces an answer is what comes next.
What Zeus has assembled at Cuddy Mountain
The surface program at Cuddy Mountain is not a single data point. It is a layered dataset, built deliberately to define a drill target.
In its 2024 campaign, Zeus collected 799 soil samples at roughly 75 meter spacing, ran 105 line-kilometers of high-resolution ground magnetics, took 339 rock grab samples across the property, and completed a property-wide 3D induced polarization and resistivity survey.2 The company also demonstrated, through its mapping, that the same stratigraphic section present on the neighboring mineralized drill sections is also present on Cuddy Mountain ground.6
This is the textbook workflow for a porphyry target, and Zeus has now completed it across the entire property rather than a single zone.

The anomaly stack
What makes a drill target compelling is not any one survey. It is convergence: independent methods pointing at the same ground.
At Cuddy Mountain, the layers line up. The soils define a broad circular copper-molybdenum anomaly, roughly 3 kilometers by 3 kilometers, about 741 acres, sitting over the mapped Seven Devils Volcanics, the same package that hosts the neighboring porphyry.3 The rock grab samples returned values up to 3.8% copper, 307 grams per tonne silver, and 182 grams per tonne molybdenum, confirming metal at surface.4 The geophysics then added broad, continuous chargeability zones, the kind of signature consistent with extensive sulphide mineralization at depth, which Zeus described as a significant chargeability anomaly.5
Soil chemistry, rock chemistry, and geophysics agreeing on the same target is exactly the integration that raises the probability of a discovery being tested by the drill.1 It is not a guarantee. It is a well-built target.
The trigger is built. It has not been pulled. The market will price the answer when Zeus pulls it.
Permits complete, targets selected
The practical gating items are also in place. Zeus is permitting and has prepared five spatially separate drill pads, designed to test the strongest portions of the coincident anomalies, and has defined its high-priority drill targets.1
This is the difference between a company that talks about drilling and a company that is positioned to drill. The pads are sited. The targets are chosen. The surface case is documented and public. The remaining variable is the program itself and what it returns.

The precedent next door, attributed correctly
There is a reason the market watches first holes so closely in this particular district, and it is worth stating with precision.
The neighboring company, Hercules Metals (TSXV: BIG), saw its valuation re-rate dramatically as its early drill holes confirmed the Leviathan copper porphyry system, a sequence that drew a roughly C$23.4 million investment from Barrick.7 Those drill results, and that re-rating, belong entirely to Hercules. They occurred on Hercules’ ground and are presented here only as the recent, local illustration of how powerfully a confirmed porphyry can move a junior in this district.7 Nothing about Hercules’ holes predicts what Zeus’s drill will find, and Zeus’s management cautions that results on nearby properties are not necessarily indicative of mineralization on its own.6
The relevant point is structural, not predictive. In this district, the drill has already proven capable of changing how the market values a company. Zeus is the one holding a permitted, target-defined property where that test has not yet happened.
What to watch, and what to weigh
The honest accounting is straightforward. Drilling is the catalyst, and drilling is also the risk.
Most exploration targets, however well built, do not become deposits. Zeus has no mineral resource, no maiden drill results, and a continuing need for capital to fund its programs.1 A maiden program can return no significant results even where soils, rocks, and geophysics all aligned, and a coincident anomaly is a reason to drill, not a promise of what lies beneath. Funding, timing, and permitting can all shift a program’s schedule.
What is unusual is the position itself. A company that has finished the surface work, permitted the pads, and defined the targets, on a property adjacent to a confirmed discovery, sitting just before its first drill test, is sitting on exactly the kind of binary catalyst that defines junior exploration. The trigger is built. The market will price the answer when Zeus pulls it.
